Marilyn Allen, partner in the Allen O'Shea Literary Agency and co-founder of the Next Generation Indie Book Awards looks forward to receiving copies of all of the contest winners for 2012. She and her partner review all winning titles with an eye toward literary representation or sharing projects with other potential agents. The Allen O'Shea Literary Agency focuses on practical non-fiction especially in the genres of health, cooking, business, parenting, and narrative nonfiction. They also look for pop culture, humor, and quirky reference titles. Carol Mann Agency is now representing Meta Hirschl, author of Vital Yoga: A Sourcebook for Students and Teachers, and Winner in the Health/Wellness category of the 2010 Next Generation Indie Book Awards. I am happy to report that we have placed Vital Yoga with a New York publisher which will issue the new edition of Meta Hirschl's book in 2012.
