Update from Literary Agents

In the last few months I have secured offers from McGraw Hill and Wiley for one of the Winners/Finalists of the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. I am now representing Peter Johnston, author of Negotiating with Giants: Get What You Want Against the Odds, from the 2009 Next Generation Indie Book Awards. I am handling foreign rights for his book and recently sold the Chinese rights.

Also, I am now representing Dr. Alicia Stanton, 2010 Next Generation Indie Book Awards author of Hormone Harmony: How to Balance Insulin, Cortisol, Thyroid, Estrogen, Progesterone and Testosterone to Live Your Best Life. I just sold a new book for her to Penguin!

Additionally, I am currently working with a couple of other 2010 winners on representation and will keep you posted as we iron out the details.

Carol Mann Agency is now representing Meta Hirschl, author of Vital Yoga: A Sourcebook for Students and Teachers, and Winner in the Health/Wellness category of the 2010 Next Generation Indie Book Awards. I am happy to report that we have placed Vital Yoga with a New York publisher which will issue the new edition of Meta Hirschl's book in 2012.
